Nina Yntema

Nina Yntema graduated in 2008 at the University of Amsterdam, Master Dutch Civil Law. She wrote her thesis on a maritime subject; the burden of proof of seaworthiness of the vessel according to the American Harter Act.

She subsequently focused on maritime law by graduating at the University of Southampton in England in 2009, L.L.M. Maritime Law. Her subjects were Marine Insurance, International Trade Law, Carriage of Goods by Sea en Admiralty Law. She wrote her thesis about the problems relating to reimbursement of the authorities in case of wreck removal.

Nina joined Smallegange-advocaten 1st November 2009 and was admitted to the bar January 2010.

Femke Tuinenburg

Femke Tuinenburg graduated in november 2009 at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. During her study she specialized in transport- and maritime law.  Her graduation thesis was about collisions caused by inevitable accidents. During her study she worked as an intern for two Rotterdam law offices. In November 2009 Femke joined Smallegange as a paralegal. She was admitted to the bar in January 2010.

Janneke Pijper

Janneke graduated in September 2008 at the University of Leiden, Master Civil Law. She wrote her thesis on the “Rotterdam Rules“. After her studies she travelled several months through Asia. In February 2009 Janneke was admitted to the bar and joined Smallegange.

Daniƫlle van der Kramer

DaniĆ«lle van der Kramer graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in August 2006 with a Masters degree in Company and Commercial Law. Her graduation thesis was on the international arbitration agreement according to article II(2) of the New York Convention 1958, the convention on the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. Before joining Smallegange  January 2007, she worked eight months with the legal department of a major parcel tanker operator. Danielle was admitted to the bar in February 2007 and specialises in maritime law, inland waterway law, insurance law, (international) trade law and litigation.
